Durga – One of the most invoked forms of the Great Goddess is her manifestation as the youthful, multi-armed deity who successfully battles the mighty buffalo demon that symbolizes among other things, the elemental powers of brutish ignorance. Ganesh – This popular Hindu deity is the god of beginnings, and the remover of obstacles. He is the lord of wisdom, intelligence, education, prudence, knowledge, luck and fortune. Ganesha is invoked at the start of any endeavor. The Patron of business people and scholars, he is also a god of knowledge and writing. A happy god who brings success. Hanuman – The monkey god is loved all over India as the greatest devotee of Rama. He is considered the god of power and strength. He could move – both run and fly – at the speed of the wind, and could also change his size at will. He has a tendency to be rather mischievous, but always presents himself as a gentleman, and honors all codes of warfare. He is also a skilled musician, an eloquent speaker, skilled grammarian, learned linguist, and a scholar of Hindu scripture. He is also well known for his great humility. Buddha Hotei (Hotai, Laughing Buddha) – Hotei is a symbol of happiness, wealth, laughter and contented joy. Buddha’s belly is said to signify bountiful wealth, and prosperity. Stroking his belly is believed to bring much luck. He is the patron of the weak, children, fortunetellers and bartenders. Buddha can be used in Feng Shi as a remedy for lost Chi. Kali – Kali frees us from the bondage of our illusions. She is the mother who purges us of fear, anger, jealousy and grief, then nurses us back to balance in the ultimate act of soul healing. Kuan Yin (Quan Yin) – Kuan Yin means “ one who hears the cries to the world, and comes.” She is known as the Goddess of mercy and compassion. She is the protector of children and a Goddess of fertility. Kuan Yin is believed to help with healing. When placed within a room she is said to cleanse the environment of negative influences . She will appear to bless those who simply speak her name. It is said that she may intercede to allow a soul to rise into a perfect and peaceful afterlife. Lakshmi – The Hindu goddess of good fortune, beauty, luck and prosperity mother of Kama, the young god of love. She arose from the milky foam of the waves at the “Churning of the Ocean”. She is the consort of Vishnu, and is his wife during each of his incarnations. Also known as Sri. [Hindu] The stones for Lakshmi are Pyrite, Sunstone, Tiger’s Eye, Turquoise and Amber.

Saraswati (Sarasvati) – Saraswati means “the one that flows”, she is the embodiment of culture, learning and the arts, especially music. Her personal charm is memory and divine wisdom. Vishnu – Vishnu, whose name means “All-Pervading,” is the protector of the world and the restorer of moral order. He is peaceful, merciful, and compassionate. He is considered the preserver of the universe with two other major Hindu gods Brahma the creator and Shiva the destroyer. He is the second god of the Trimurti, the Hindu Triad, while Brahma is first and Shiva is third.
